Calcium Carbonate
OVERVIEW
Calcium carbonate is a fine, white powder consisting essentially of precipitated calcium carbonate (CaCO3) prepared either by grinding naturally occurring limestone or synthetically, by precipitation.
Cimbar Calcium Carbonate products are processed from a high purity white calcium carbonate ore, to exacting specifications. These grades are processed for use in completion fluids, plastics, adhesives, sealants, mastics, and other specialty applications where color, solubility, binder demand, and economics are of importance.
Cimbar produces dry, coarse and screen grade calcium carbonate and serves several end markets including building and infrastructure (cement and chips), joint compounds, and agriculture (animal feed).
